Q: Why should I buy a Snunkie product over other cheaper versions? · Snunkie footmuffs, liners and hoods can be made to measure for your buggy and as far as we are aware we were the first company to ever do this. We take great care in attention to detail and are constantly improving our designs to give you every functionality possible. · Snunkie zips are custom made specifically for us and conform to the required regulations for this type of product. You can purchase your footmuff with either standard zips, or upgrade to Reversible 2 Way zips which also open at both the top and the bottom for just £2 extra. We always use colour coordinated zips where available · ALL of our footmuffs are shaped and fitted with the exception of some ‘Sale’ footmuffs in our ready made shop. The liner part of the footmuff is shaped to fit the seat of your buggy perfectly This makes for a much nicer looking footmuff that fits beautifully in your buggy. We only buy the best quality fabrics that we can find and never skimp on materials or tools · All of our wadding is Fire Retardant and conforms to British Safety Standards · We have spent a lot of time working on our website to try and make as many options as possible available to you to buy online, making for a faster smoother transaction, but we’re are still a voice at the end of the phone or a contact at the end of an email should you require further assistance · Although we are a small business, we work from a purpose made workshop and are fully equipped to deal with most requests. We are also PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURED · We work hard on our designs to keep them unique and because of this you are unlikely to see another Snunkie footmuff the same, although you are likely to see many copies of our designs

Q: How long will my custom order take? · When you place an order with us, your item will be made from scratch to your requirements. We have an average of 70-80 orders in our queue at any one time. However similar orders are grouped together and not necessarily done in order · If we have your fabrics in stock then under normal circumstances your order should be dispatched within 14-28 days.. However, your Custom Made Order could take up to 8 weeks but we will keep you informed if this is the case · Occasionally the fabric you have chosen may be out of stock and this then needs to be ordered in, most often from our suppliers in USA. In this case we will keep you informed of progress · We will always do our best to keep you as up to date as possible with your order, but during extremely busy times this is not always possible. If you want to enquire about your order, please do so · If we have your fabrics in stock and we are already making similar items that week then you may get your item much quicker than expected

Q: Why did my friend get her order before me when I ordered mine first? · Being a small business, we have to work in the most efficient way possible to enable us to get our products out successfully. This means that we might have 1 or 2 days working on footmuffs, another day working on hoods, another on bags etc as this is the quickest way for us to do things. This means that orders aren’t necessarily done in the order that they were placed

Q: What if I need my order urgently? · Please enquire before purchasing giving us the date required and we will determine whether we can do this for you before you purchase. In the event that there is some reason we cannot product your item in time then we will refund you.

Q: Do you sell on Ebay? · Occasionally we may put our products on Ebay but for most of the time we are too busy with custom orders to provide ready made items for Ebay. However there are always Snunkie items for sale on Ebay listed by our customers

Q: Why was my order delayed? · There can be many reasons for your order being delayed. Should a delay occur then we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible. There could be a problem with your fabric, or details that we need to finalise for example. We are only a small team of 3 people. If a delay occurs, we will always do our best to keep you informed of your order progress

Q: What if I’m unhappy with my order once I’ve received it? · If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us immediately explaining the reasons why you are unhappy. · If we are at fault with our workmanship then we will replace or refund · If you have bought a ready made product then you have 7 days to return it unused and in it’s original packaging, providing you have contacted us first · If your item was custom made to your requirements but not faulty then we can discuss a resolution agreeable to both parties · We will always do our utmost to resolve any problems and provide a happy outcome

Q: What if I can’t see what I’m after on your website · Please make sure you have checked the website for the information you require before contacting us. We are always very busy with production and unfortunately have very little time to answer emails

Q: Why does it sometimes take so long for you to answer emails · Snunkie is only a small, but extremely busy business consisting of just 3 people at this moment in time and we concentrate our time on production · We have made every effort to make the website as informative and as easy to use as possible so that you can order your item with ease · Emails are answered at every available opportunity but sometimes things get so hectic here that in extreme cases it could be several days before you receive an answer · We strongly suggest that you make every effort to place your order online. Any details can be dealt with after your order has been placed

Q: What determines the cost of your bags? · We price the bags mainly on the amount of work involved in making each one and then of course the cost of the materials. · At first glance, our full changing bags may look expensive. What you may not know is just how much work goes into making one. For example, our changing bag consists of a minimum of 29 pieces of fabric, just for the bag! This includes the waterproof panels that are hidden between the outer and the lining and all of the cotton pieces are starched and ironed before being put together. They are very labour intensive and it usually takes approx 4½ hours to put a changing bag together. In addition to the bag, the adjustable padded shoulder straps, buggy clips, changing mat and any other accessories all add to the cost and the time it takes to make one · It’s a fact that our bags are our least profit making item, but they are very popular and we love making them to complete your Snunkie set

Q: Do you do a budget range? · Here at Snunkie we focus on quality, but we also understand that sometimes a cheaper option would be preferred. Whilst we don’t do a budget range, there may be ways that we can reduce costs on some items by suggesting alternatives. However we will advise you if we don’t think we could produce something satisfactory to suit your budget. · In most cases, our products are cheaper than the actual manufacturer’s product, but ours are custom made and in your desired fabrics · We are regularly praised for our value for money

Q: What if I want to cancel my order? · If you need to cancel your order, please contact us. If we haven’t yet processed your order, or ordered fabric in on your behalf then you may cancel your order and we will refund your order less a £10 non refundable deposit to cover our time, but this may be waived under some circumstances determined by us. You may use this £10 deposit against a future order · If we have ordered fabric in specifically for your order then you will be refunded less the cost of the fabric, minimum of £10 charge. This is to cover the fabric, admin, shipping costs etc · If we have already cut your order then we will discuss this with you. It may be something we can put on our readymade section, in which case we will refund you less £10 to cover admin and time already spent on your order

Q: How would you rate your Customer Service? · We pride ourselves on our Customer Service and treat customers the way we would expect to be treated. · We always try and answer enquiries as quickly as possible, but sometimes during extremely busy periods it can take longer than usual · We are extremely approachable but please consider that we are a small but very busy Company and are often tied up with production. If you have any sort of query, feedback or problem with your order, tell us, we want to know and we’re here to help but it can sometimes take a while for us to get back to you. Q: What if you don’t have the fabric I want? · We stock a huge range of fabrics and order in twice weekly from our regular suppliers. If we don’t have the fabric you’re after then you can either order the fabric yourself and have it sent directly to us, or you can send us the link and we will purchase it on your behalf, providing you have paid your order in full, in advance. · Please be aware that your order will be subject to an extra shipping charge for the cost (approx £9) of ordering the fabrics in and a customs import charge, usually between £11-£16. · If we know where to find the fabric that you are after then we will of course do this for you, but unfortunately we are unable to spend much time searching for fabrics and would ask you to do this and send us the link if you have a particular fabric in mind that we don’t have
