Snunkie create quality, designer, custom made accessories with all your requirements in mind.
To the best of our knowledge, we believe that we were the first company to create pushchair accessories that are made to measure, to order, to fit your buggy
We constantly strive to produce unique items to keep ahead of the market as items are often copied as fast as we can design them. Each custom made item is designed specifically for you, in the fabrics you want, to fit perfectly
The Snunkie Range includes a huge variety of footmuff designs, buggy liners, hoods, support padding, head huggers, strap pads, comfort packs, bags, bike trailer nests, wheelchair accessories, bedding and so much more - tailor made or universal - and designed to be as functional as possible.
I started creating the Snunkie range of accessories in February 2006 out of sheer frustration from not being able to find the right items with all the functionality I required. Being then a Mother of 3 young children, with the youngest being only 2 months old. There were plenty of companies out there making footmuffs and other accessories, but I wanted to be able to include every possible functionality into my items, making them value for money, and most of all I wanted them to fit perfectly.
We are now in our fifth year of business and have sold custom made items as far afield as Australia, USA and Japan, as well as all over Europe and the UK. The majority of our business is now by recommendation from our existing customers and by word of mouth, which we feel is a huge compliment.
I have 4 children aged 2, 4 7 & 9, so as you can imagine it can get pretty hectic sometimes, but with the help of my staff, Jade & Kate, we are running a successful & rapidly growing business

Quality Assurance
Here at Snunkie we concentrate on quality not quantity and the focus is on workmanship and safety.
We use a variety of different industrial machines, each of which are used for various tasks.
We like to produce unique items and it is unlikely that you will ever see 2 Snunkies the same
Over 600 patterned fabrics are kept in stock but we only keep a small amount of each fabric because we prefer to offer a wide variety of fabrics rather than quantity of the same, apart from plain fabrics which we buy by the roll.
All items have a care and designer labels.
Our zips are custom made for us and conform to the required safety standards.
All of these things cost money which is reflected in the price of each item.
We will not produce budget items meaning we have to use low quality goods, and we will not make any item that we know or feel would jeopardise a child’s safety in any way.
Where did Snunkie come from?
I’m often asked where the name Snunkie came from. One day I was sitting here saying to my then 5yr old son Luke, what’s Mummy going to call her business, it’s got to have a name. Luke then disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a cloth thing with a head on it, a blankie I suppose, and he said you can call it after this. The label on it said Kaloo if I remember rightly, and I said we can’t call it that because that’s already someone’s name for their product. He said no, I call it my Snunkie, so we can call your business Snunkie Mummy. So there you have it. How could I refuse?
